New Look in 2010

The VermontVacation.com web site is about to undergo a major facelift, including a more modern presentation of featured stories, easier navigation, social marketing tools making the site more visitor driven and more integration with the Travel Planner portion of the site.

This new look is expected to launch in spring 2010; keep an eye out.

Mean New Opportunities For You
Itinerary Planner
Planned as a consumer tool the new Itinerary Planner on VermontVacation.com is being used by Vermont's travel professionals. The planner, with its mapping capabilities, is a great way for innkeepers to put together day trip suggestions for their guests. Information centers are using the planner to make suggested scenic driving trips to hand out.

We're sure you will find other ways to use this tool that we haven't thought of. Let us know as you come up with ideas.

Shopping
The Vermont Travel Planner (VTP) now includes a shopping section. This will give Vermont businesses an opportunity to put their product(s) in front of the 50,000-70,000 unique visitors who come to the site each month. In 2008 alone, VermontVacation.com received more than 20 million page views.

Add your listing to the new shopping area now . it's free and you'll be part of a Vermont directory used by 1,500 visitors daily.

Recreation
The Vermont Travel Planner (VTP) now lists recreation-related businesses. Do you own a marina, a youth camp, fitness center, or other recreation business? Add your listing to the VTP now, it's free and you be part of a Vermont directory used by 1,500 visitors each day.

Lodging Reservations and Restaurant Menus
If you have a lodging property, your listing in the Vermont Travel Planner can now have a link to your reservation page. If you have a restaurant you and you have your menu or this week's specials online you can add the link to them to your listing.

Go to the Travel Planner and use the "Add/Edit My Listing" button to update your information today. If you've never updated your listing, or are having trouble retrieving your password, you can get a login and password by contacting by email or by calling 802-828-5905.
